Sun 12th June, Cambridge Storytellers at the Leper Chapel, 8pm
Our annual visit to the historic Leper Chapel this year coincides with the 800th
anniversary of Stourbridge Fair (held on the nearby Stourbridge Common)-at
its height Europe’s largest medieval fair. We reimagine stories from the stalls,
paths, and drinking places of the ancient Fair and bring them to life.

What is the collective noun for ‘storytellers’? A Flock? A Gaggle? A Murder!?
Three performance storytellers take to the open road, in June 2011, to delight
audiences with tales of the sublime and the ridiculous. These storytellers are
guaranteed to shorten the road from here to there. Three innovative
storytellers, Jo Blake, Dominic Kelly, and Clare-Ann Murphy delve into their
wide and engaging repertoires in the moment as they follow the twists and
turns of the evening. More than the sum of their parts, this storytelling
ensemble will allow the stage to unfold beneath their feet, revealing a new
show each night.
A rare chance to see these three hugely talented performers at work – don’t
miss it!
