Cambridge Storytellers Widely travelled, Nigel has a great fund of humorous tales and anecdotes from around the world. Nigel is a storytelling artist-in-residence at a large Cambridge hospital he is employed to work with adults with mental health difficulties and has been able to develop a wide and varied repertoire of stories, jokes, anecdotes and poems that have been noted for their therapeutic benefits. Nigel also works with patients suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s. He is currently involved in a project to record memories. As a teacher he has worked with children of all ages, finding storytelling an invaluable attribute. He has run drama groups for children based on contemporary oral and traditional tales. This year Nigel has told stories for Help The Aged, CamSight (for the blind), and a variety of schools. He would be happy to provide story-telling for any age, group and function.
