Psalms from The Horse’s Mouth with Hugh Lupton

Author, storyteller, poet and singer of ballads, Hugh Lupton recreates the ancient connection between people and horses, through poetry, music and stories from Celtic and Navajo traditions, charting the slow disappearance of horses from the landscape through the story of Jenny Wing, a horseman’s daughter living right here in Cambridgeshire a hundred years ago.

He has toured both nationally and internationally and toured the length and breadth of Britain, performing at the RSC, the National Theatre and the Barbican. His repertoire ranges from Greek epic to the Great War and often explores our place in the landscape and the deep cultural memories we carry.

‘Hugh has inspired a generation of storytellers and story listeners!’

Tickets £11 from the Town and Gown Pub,  Come early and enjoy a pre-theatre supper.
